PERFORMANCES

May 2024 – Our performance at Maroochydore Stella Maris Primary School  was our first concert with our new conductor Donna Langford and accompanist Isack Sensburns. Our sixty plus voice choir was accompanied by an orchestral ensemble and the marvelous soprano soloist Ashleigh Mclaine.

September 2023 – “Mozart and More” is a beautiful mix of three quite different musical performances. The concert opens with the Sunshine Coast Symphonia playing the overture from Mozart’s favourite opera, The Magic Flute. This is followed by English composer, Ralph Vaughan William’s Five Mystical Songs, all pure simplicity with a beautiful ethereal quality.
Mozart’s Mass in C Minor, is the true highlight, being performed for the first time on the Sunshine Coast and remaining an all time Mozart favourite.

May 2023 – Our double performance at Maroochydore and Maleny celebrated several of the world’s favourite opera arias and chorus. We welcomed  both new Music Director, Lincoln Scott and Judit Molnar, magnificent soprano who both delighted their audience.

December 2022 – The choir said farewell to our much loved Music Director, Arian King,  with a collection of Christmas favourites. Adrian’s long and acclaimed contribution was acknowledged at the afternoon tea which followed the performance.

September 2022 – Sunshine Coast Choral Society and Noosa Chorale joined with the Sunshine Coast Symphony Orchestra to stage the performance of Carmina Burana and Rapsody in Blue. The performance was conducted by Adrian King, Music Director of all three organisations.

June 2022 – Gregson and Weight was the ideal venue for the performance of Messiah Highlights. Conducted by Adrian King, the performance was enriched by our four soloists and the Sunshine Coast Baroque Orchestra.

December 2021 – The Christmas compositions of John Rutter, England’s most famous living composer, were brought to life by conductor, Adrian King and choir.

August 2021 – Adrian King conducted, Henry Purcell’s famous opera, Dido and Aeneas, which is based on the story of Dido, Queen of Carthage and Aeneas, Prince of Troy.

March 2021 – A choral celebration of the true message  of Easter at St Mark’s Anglican Church, Buderim. The Crucifixion, composed by John Stainer and conducted by Adrian King was supported by Natasha Koch, organist, soloists and choir. The congregation and audience shared refreshments in the adjoining hall following the performance.
